Why use a white light instead of turquoise?

After doing some research via the Internet, I discovered in luminous efficiency. The bars in the eye of man has the highest luminous efficiency at 507nm, which is close to a turquoise color. Since this color gives us better visibility, Why should we wear a white ribbon instead of turquoise? For example, the flagship car color in natural light and that its main objective is to improve night vision. Use a turquoise would be not only more effective but consume less energy.

Turquoise is not lit in blue objects. With no other light is reflected, so that all objects appear black not blue. This would make the visibility of a huge problem.
