Car Camera Set

Someone damaged my car and I want to catch them. Parked on the road. What kind of camera do I need?

The only way I can think of catching them is a camera of some kind. We have windows overlooking the car is parked on a quiet side street behind a town where we live. Police are not willing to put a camera because it only happens once every two months or so (no real reason other than it is usually the weekend). There have been 18 months and some dangerous damage (hidden damage tires). What kind of camera should I get?

Do not Tell, but like most of this type of activity occurs at night, you should get a camera in low light. One that will produce a good image to the light that is available during the hours night. Black and white cameras perform better in conditions. Color need more light. Get a digital recorder can operate for 10 hours or more. Turn it on at night, or vandalism, it produces more. If there is damage that can delete that record and try again tomorrow.
